The front porch has been completed with hand hewn beaming and the roof is closed in ready for shingles. The windows are scheduled to be installed this week and siding installation quickly to follow. Beautiful home with a great view in a fantastic Blue Ridge Mountain community along the Eastern Continental Divide. Does not get any better than this!

Construction on the Appalachian home at The Divide is progressing quickly! The roof is on and insulated. Next, we are planning for the installation of windows and the addition of the front porch. Plumbing and electrical rough-ins are also being completed with interior walls. We are still ahead of a very tight construction schedule.

Lot 34, The Divide. End of the day number 10 for construction of The Appalachian. All trusses and beams in place. Roof tongue and groove being applied. Construction is right on schedule, actually a bit ahead.

Day 5 of construction on lot 34 The Appalachian. Dormers and gables installed with main hand hewn center beam in place. Most main beam hand hewn rafters installed. Construction at this point is ahead of a very fast schedule. Second floor view is astounding. This is the way cabins used to be built. Solid as a rock and built to last. Quality is not our goal, it is indeed our standard.

Look at the progress we've made on The Appalachian in just 3 1/2 days! The Appalachian sits on lot 34 of The Divide. The first floor is up, window openings are in, insulated, sheeted and hand hewn posts and beams are in place. The second floor is being laid with tongue-and-groove and will be completed yet today! Exciting and Amazing progress on a beautiful house in a beautiful setting!!
